Qué ver en Berastegi

Berastegi stands out for its elegant town center, where the baroque Town Hall and its small fronton in the porticoes are highlights. The Church of San Martín de Tours is a mandatory stop to admire its 13th-century portico and the imposing Jauregi Tower House that guards it. In the surroundings, nature surprises visitors with the stunning lake of Lindozulo and a network of three hermitages (San Sebastián, San Antón, and San Lorenzo) that serve as privileged viewpoints over the valley.

Lindozulo, a temporary lake

On Aintzerga neighbourhood, halfway to Leitza (Navarre), a sporadic pool appears on very rainy days and disappears when it stops. A whim of nature worth visiting. You may be lucky!

Urto picnic area
