Town Hall square

Is the heart of Altzo's life. The beautiful town hall building is the main part of it, with a very representative architectural style. In the modern building next to it both the Culture House and the Giant of Altzo's interpretation centre are located. There's a stunning view from the balcony.

Architectural heritage

There are numerous architecturally interesting farmhouses: Zuaznabar Haundi, Etxeberri or the town hall. From the balcony of the building next to it the views are magnificent.

Church in Altzo Muño

Guarded by the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, it was built between 1535 and 1717. Stands out by its Gothic-Isabelline style arcade and the fronton court on the back side, in which championships take place during the fetivities. The sunset views from the arcade are truly beautiful.

Otsabio mountain ascent

After going into a very diverse forest, the peak is close with a beautiful view of Aralar Mountain Range. We recommend you this path. On the way down you can find the remains of a Roman road.
