Alkiza Museum
A museum in the middle of the forest

The museum houses works by Koldobika Jauregi in the heart of the forest, among beech, oak, ash, chestnut, and birch trees. The permanent, outdoor exhibition features 30 large-format Basque marble sculptures.

Ur Mara offers guided tours of the museum to groups of all kinds, from schools to those interested in Basque culture, art, and nature (minimum 10 people, maximum 20). Closed during  winter.

In addition to guided tours, Ur Mara organizes various workshops, concerts, and cultural events. Works by Koldobika Jauregi and Elena Cajaraville are for sale in the shop: sculptures, graphic works, jewelry, copies of works published in recent years, and more.

Admission €5 (by appointment only). Please contact urmara.alkiza@gmail.com
