Authentic rural essence
A winding road through the trees leads to Gaztelu, nestled between meadows and hills and dotted with farmhouses, where the essence of rural Gipuzkoa is preserved. There are theories that indicate that there used to be a castle here -which is why it adopted the name Gaztelu, Basque for castle- but there is no evidence.

Our Lady of the Assumption Parish Church
Built in the 16th century, it is Baroque in style, and its portico is Gothic. It is remarkable for its size. It has recently been restored by local volunteers. At its entrance is the coat of arms of the town, represented by a castle.
Square
It is the meeting point of the village, with a covered pelota court and a children's playground that invite you to have a good time. There are several interesting mansions in the surrounding area: Seroetxe, Erretore Etxea or Osingone, among others.
Old washing place
It is located very close to the stately town hall. Despite the years, it is still in good condition. It has a wooden roof and is supported by stone pillars.
Former chapel
A sculpture at the entrance to the municipality recalls the former chapel of Santa Cruz, which was located at the same spot. There are numerous crosses around it.
Uli picnic area
An easy route that starts in the village square takes us through the woods to the picnic area of the Uli hut, halfway between Berastegi, Orexa and Navarre. This was formerly the site of the Mikeletes house.
