The Fagus Alkiza interpretation center is open to the public all year round. Located on the top floor of the Rectory House in the village square, it offers a unique opportunity to discover the natural and cultural values of the Hernio-Gazume Special Area of Conservation.

Come and immerse yourself in the secrets of nature, the landscape, and its heritage.

SELF-GUIDED VISIT: €3

You can visit at your own pace and at any time, with prior booking on the Fagus Alkiza interpretation center website.

Inside the center, you will have access to all the information:

Educational content on interpretive panels
Audioguides to complete the visit and enrich the experience

Once you make the reservation, you will receive an access code. In the building’s elevator, you will find a keypad to enter the code; by entering it, the elevator will take you directly to the center.

GUIDED VISIT

If you want a deeper experience, guided tours are also available. A guide will explain the center’s contents and the particular features of the natural area.

Guided visit organization:

A prior reservation is required.
A minimum group of 10 people is required.
